Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Central Christian Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe in one God, the Creator of the universe and the Author of life, who is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, both fully divine and fully human, … without sin to be our Lord and Savior. He is the living Word of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He died for the sins of humanity, was buried, and rose from the grave. Through Jesus Christ we are saved, reconciled, and brought to eternal life.

Humanity
We believe that all people were created in the image of God and called to have a relationship with God. We believe that human beings were born into a sinful world and are in need of a Savior who can reconcile them to God. All human life is of inestimable worth from conception through death and all should be afforded compassion, love, kindness, and respect.

The Church
We believe the church is called to be the body of Christ on earth. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the church is called to serve under the mandate of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and obey the rule of the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40). The church is called to worship God, observe the ordinances of communion and believer's baptism, study the Word of God, and serve the needs of others.
Communion (Lord's Supper) – We believe that communion is open to all who believe and have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Baptism – We believe in believer's baptism by immersion as practiced in the New Testament.
