Tyler Tolbert, (A.K.A. “Triple T” as his youth minister, Mitchell McIntyre, dubbed him), joined our staff full-time as the Lead Pastor on February 27, 2022. He previously served as the Minister to Young Adults, Youth Minister, and Outreach & Discipleship Minister in his 9 years at First Christian Church in Columbus, IN. He is grateful to be on staff at CCC. He loves to connect with people and connect them (or help them better connect) with Jesus. Tyler is married to Megan, who teaches 4th grade at Emerson Elementary. They have 2 children, Evelyn (Evie) who is 4 years old, and Theodore (Theo, who is also a “Triple T”) who is 2 years old. The family also has a miniature schnauzer, Zoe. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Kentucky Wildcats, watching Survivor, eating delicious food, and running, so he can keep eating delicious food.

Janice is a “transplant” to Seymour, having grown up in Evansville, Indiana. She came to Seymour in 1970 to teach business and English at the high school. She became a member Central Christian Church in 1986. In 1994 she married the love of her life, a Seymour native, Jim Brock. By marrying Jim, she inherited three children, and she claims all nine of my grandchildren as her own. They range in age from 23 ½ to almost 3.  She joined the staff at CCC in October 2008 as the Financial Secretary. Although she tried to retire in 2020, it didn’t work. Her role has expanded somewhat to include Office Administrator duties, some property duties, and continues as Financial Secretary. She loves the Lord, CCC and the people here, as well as her work. As of this writing, she believes she has more years to go in her role here.

Hello all, this is Suzy Hougland, the newest Director of CCC Daycare. Suzy came to CCC Daycare on July 11 of 2022. Starting as a “floater” (part-time position), in a short amount of time, she worked her way to assistant director, and then director. Suzy is a native of Jackson County. Since high school, she has always had a passion for working with children. She attended IUPUI in Columbus, IN studying early childhood education and elementary education. She says that working at the daycare is a very rewarding job, ”because we are giving each child a wonderful start to life in a wholesome Christian environment.”

Debbie joined the staff as Next Generations Pastor on September 11, 2022. She has served in children’s ministry for the last 18 years with her husband Steve by her side. They have previously served together in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Tennessee. Debbie graduated from Johnson University in 1995 with a degree in Bible and Counseling. They have one son, Noah, who is 24 and just recently graduated from Johnson University. Debbie is passionate about serving kids and families. Her favorite thing about serving kids is helping them to know God better and partnering with the family to raise their kids to be disciples. Psalm 78:4 describes it best, “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power and the wonders He has done.” She also loves her very sweet 1 year old cockerspaniel named “Jax”. Debbie is an Indiana farm girl that loves the Hoosiers so don’t be surprised to hear her cheering for the cream and crimson.

 Meet Elaine Dunn. She is the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist here at Central Christian Church. She is married to Montie Dunn and they have  3 sons. Their family has attended Central Christian for about 5 ½ years. She really enjoys helping and working with people. She said, "I am looking forward to working with all of you at some point.
