Give to Central.

Giving is a part of our worship to God. It has been said that you can tell nearly everything about a person by the way they spend their money. We read in 2 Corinthians 9 that believers give as much as we can, as much as we want to, because we want to, and because we're glad to. Your money helps us extend God’s hope and healing to our community and beyond.

With the link below, you can give your gift safely and securely online.  This is one of the easiest ways to give to our church!  Please be aware that a small portion of each donation given here will be taken out for the banking services that make this possible.  We only accept debit cards or bank account transfers at this time.

We give in order to bless, not for fear of anything negative in our lives. We give out of gratitude and love! Thank you for supporting the ministries of our church.

Giving Locally.

The money you give to Central Christian doesn't all stay within the walls of the church.  As we pray on Sundays that God's glory might be made known within and beyond our walls, we support ministries outside our church that exalt the name of Christ and that aid and bless others in His name.

Our Love Offerings provide for the needs of people in Seymour every week.  Men and women needing assistance approach our office to get help with food, gas, rent, utility bills, or a place to stay for a night.  Your generosity lets us show God's compassion to others.

Your financial gifts allow us to support ministries here in Jackson County that …

Provide hot meals: The Alley Street Kitchen, Community Diner

Provide groceries: Community Provisions (a food bank), Anchor House

Provide clothing: Clothing Center of Jackson County

Provide housing: Habitat for Humanity, Anchor House

And provide other local assistance: Jackson County United Way

We also support the Southeast Baptist (aka Westport) Youth Camp so they can provide quality Christian education in a safe and fun environment during the summer months.

In addition to financial assistance to many worthy organizations, we are also physically involved in assisting the community.  We strive to be the "hands and feet of Jesus" to those around us. Many of our members help provide backpacks and school supplies to give to students when school begins so they are well-prepared to learn. Some members stock Thanksgiving baskets in the fall for families in hard circumstances who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the holidays. Others volunteer at the local pregnancy care center, Clarity Counts.

Giving nationally.

Donors to our church have made it possible for us to support other missions and ministries across the United States. Our youth group (C3Y) regularly travels to urban centers across America to serve, often partnering with the Center for Student Missions. We also support Matt & Karen McLean's outreach to the Apache people through Without Reservation Ministries, and Norm & Amanda Reynolds' outreach to the Navajo people through United Indian Mission. GIVING GLOBALLY.

Unique partnerships have allowed Central Christian to send missionaries beyond the borders of the United States in the name of Christ. Our church sends teams annually to Haiti in cooperation with Nehemiah Vision Ministries, an organization connected with Campus Crusade for Christ. We helped them rebuild after the 2010 earthquake, and we continue to equip them through medical services and other labor on short-term trips. We support Voice of the Martyrs, dedicated to assisting persecuted Christians worldwide, and the American Bible Society, dedicated to giving every person on earth access to the life-changing message of God's Word. We also support Jocelyn Zilahenda in Tanzania, working with New Life Methodist Ministries to plant churches and bring aid to orphans and other children.

It is ultimately because of international missions that we in Seymour could hear the gospel and be able to respond to God's salvation call! How much more should we be moved to extend the gospel call again both within and beyond our borders?
